- In 2016 I was an Executive Producer of a web series called 'Final Vinyl' that was based on my screenplay about one Sunday afternoon inside a record store in NYC
- I'm an "expert" on one of the windiest spots in all of NYC and was quoted on it in the New York Times
- I'm one of the world's biggest Led Zeppelin fans, and once spent an afternoon record shopping with Jimmy Page in Greenwich Village
- From 2003 to 2011, I was the lead singer in three psychedelic rock cover bands - Dock Ellis, The Marvin Barnes Time Machine, and Fritz Kekich
- From the age of 16 to around 18, I had a mushroom cloud shaped afro that would rival Questlove and Colin Kaepernick's combined
- I helped legendary music and travel photographer Ross Halfin name his book of travel photos "Sojourner - Ross Halfin Travels"
- From 2007 to 2016 I performed as an actor in modern day adaptations of Oedipus Rex, Hamlet, and Salome (On the Rocks) by The Brooklyn Stage Company and Mortals Theater
